‘Whatever was to my profit I now consider loss for the sake of Christ. What is more, I consider everything a loss compared to the surpassing greatness of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord.’ (Philippians 3:7-8)

This Sunday is Mother’s Day! We will look at the life of Paul, one of the most prolific writers in the New Testament. He was raised right from his birth. He was given every opportunity to take his religion seriously. He was successful at it; ‘promoted above others my own age.’ Ultimately Paul came to a crossroad where he chose an authentic relationship with God over empty religion.

This Sunday we will celebrate a Baby Dedication. We will also baptize a precious girl who has been brought up to know the Lord. We pray that every person in our church—youngest to oldest—will ultimately choose a deep, meaningful, personal relationship with God. You can build a life on that, not on empty religion.

Join us this Sunday at 9:30, or 11. We’re engaging in all the usual precautions to help everyone stay safe as we gather!

The sermon video will also be online Sunday morning on Facebook and Youtube. It can help reinforce your learnings in worship, but it won’t be the same as being there.
