QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

Here are some answers to common questions.

We have 2 identical services on Sunday mornings with the same music and message.

We usually sing a few songs, pray, pass around baskets to collect an offering, and then one of our pastors will share a message.

Some Sundays we'll also have a baptism, child dedication, or Lord's Supper (communion).

The service lasts about one hour and we have childcare (we call it KidMin) for ages birth through 4th grade.

The best place to park for our Sunday morning services is the upper parking lot. If you'd like to utilize our drop off, pull around to the south side of the building to drop off under the covered entrance.

If you're meeting with one of our staff members during normal business hours, use the lower level parking lot for easy access to the office area.

Our most important priority is that you feel comfortable to come as you are, so feel free to dress up or down! Many people wear jeans on a normal Sunday, but it's also common to see women in casual dresses or men in slacks.

If you're coming for one of our Sunday services, park in the upper level lot for easy access to our main entrance. There, you'll find a volunteer from our welcome team to greet you. The left wing hosts our KidMin area for birth through 4th grade. To your right, you'll find our sanctuary.

Our lower level offers space for pre-teens, teenagers, adult education classes, and offices.

We're excited to meet your kids! Our KidMin area is conveniently located on the main level. Upon entering, you'll see check-in stations to your left. If this is your first time joining us, we'll have volunteers that will help you get set up in our system so you can easily get checked in and find the right class for each of your kids.

At the end of the service, you'll be able to check out each child from their classrooms using the sticker provided to you during your registration.

If you'd like to plan ahead, email amanda@fbcplattecity.com and we'll get your children registered in our system before Sunday morning.

Baptism is a bold act of identifying with Christ. It is a full-immersion personal worship experience. We baptize during a public service where others will help celebrate your life with God.

Jesus, himself was baptized (Matthew 3:13-17) to set the example of being all-in with God’s plan for your life.
