I love finding a promise in one place in my Bible that puts me in mind of another.

Joel 2 is famous because it’s picked up by Peter centuries later when he’s addressing the crowd on the explosive day of Pentecost in Acts 2 (this is also the event known as the Birth of the Church).

What does it even mean when God says, ‘I will pour out My Spirit’? Who is this for, and to what end?

Let me reframe those questions.

When you look to future, what do you see?

What do you dream of for the people you love the most?

God promised that He would give us ‘a future and a hope.’ That’s what we are going to worship around this Sunday.

I can’t wait to share it with you. Bring a friend who needs hope for the future.

I LOVE Being Your Pastor!
