‘God have mercy on me, a sinner.’  —Zaccheus, Luke 18:13

I’m too quick to judge people. I size them up before even realizing it. My judgments are shallow and ill-conceived. I repent.

Jesus told a story about people like me, who are ‘confident of their own righteousness and look down on everyone else.’

Best prayer ever: “God have mercy on me, a sinner.” (Luke 18:13)

Have you ever known anyone who needed to meet Jesus, but they seemed too far gone? The least, the lost, the most unlikely.

But what if that’s not my call? My job is to keep praying, “God have mercy on me, a sinner.” And keep pointing people to Jesus.

Let’s worship around all that this Sunday.

I love you, and I LOVE Being Your Pastor!

BTW: We have some baptisms already planned for this Sunday. You’re invited to the water as well. I’d love to hear your story.
