‘Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is.’ 1 John 3:2

Paul talks about living life ‘accepted in the BELOVED.’ That’s what I want. Sometimes it’s hard to feel accepted into anything—let alone anything so wonderful as ‘the BELOVED.’ Solomon talked about a confidence— ‘I am my BELOVED’s, and He is mine. His banner over me is love.’

I want to invite you into that acceptance and confidence as we worship. We’ve entered into a season of preparing for Easter—the highest worship day of our year. It’s not something to stumble into, it’s something to get ready for. The forty days leading up to Easter is a time of resetting, remembering who we are in Christ, how loved, how accepted into the BELOVED.

This Sunday we will look to John, the BELOVED disciple, to help us find our place ‘in the BELOVED.’ We’ll explore these questions:

· What keeps you from remembering you are BELOVED?

· What gets in the way of belonging?

· Can God be trusted to love you?

We will be worshipping together this Sunday at 9:30 and 11. Please pre-register, mask-up, and respect everyone’s social-distancing— we so want to care-well for the people we love… We will be dropping the sermon video Sunday morning at 9:30 for those who aren’t able to join us at our new home.

Keep watching your email and social media as we continue to move forward to see God’s Kingdom COME!

I LOVE You, and I LOVE Being Your Pastor!
