Sometimes HOPE grows tired, wears thin, burns through. In times like that you have to ask yourself what your HOPE is built on.

Therefore, with minds that are alert and fully sober, set your hope fully on the grace to be brought to you when Jesus Christ is revealed. 1 Peter 1:13

Peter talks about HOPE that is not bought by perishable things like silver and gold, but the imperishable, precious Jesus—the ‘living stone’—rejected by men, but chosen by God.

This Sunday, let’s worship around the picture of burned out stones, rubble that’s been reclaimed and rebuilt into a living HOPE

You can read 1 Peter 1:11-2:10, Nehemiah 4, and Psalm 61 to prepare your heart for worship.
