I’m amazed at how often I wallow in the ‘cheap stuff’ while God is holding out to me the ‘choicest of wine.’ But it’s not just me… I see it everywhere I turn. In the highest of highs and the lowest of lows— the enemy of my soul offers counterfeit joy, and false comfort in sorrow. 

Why spend money on what is not bread,
     and your labor on what does not satisfy?
Listen, listen to me, and eat what is good,
    and you will delight in the richest of fare.’ Isaiah 55:2

 

People ask, ‘What are you giving up for Lent?’

What if you decided to give up the cheap wine, and empty calories—spiritually speaking— and let God lavish His everlasting love on you?

Jesus said ‘Do not work for food that spoils, but for that which endures to eternal life. (John 6:27).

We will be worshipping together this Sunday at 9:30 and 11. Please pre-register, mask-up, and respect everyone’s social-distancing— we so want to care-well for the people we love…
